WHAT IS IT ALL ABOUT?
“Unlocking Kingdom potential in young people through discipleship, training and service.”
We are looking for the leaders of the future who are willing to dedicate ten weeks to accelerating their growth as they launch into the world to respond to the call of God on their life.
As a local church we feel God has called us to equip, train and inspire young people and help shape them into effective Kingdom-leaders in every area of society.
Our mission is to unlock Kingdom potential in young people, and we do this through a combination of discipleship, training and service.
WHO SHOULD
CONSIDER
APPLYING?
The Future Leaders Program is designed for young guys and girls between 18-23 years old who are committed followers of Christ, and who have been part of an NCMI relating church at some point. Applicants can be based outside of the UAE.
This isn’t for people who can’t find anything good on Netflix, or have nothing better to do… We’re looking to encourage and disciple young people into dynamic, wild, spirit-filled, courageous, faithful, passionately Word-based leaders who will continue to grow in influence and effectiveness in fulfilling the call of God on their lives.
Successful applicants will be those who are motivated, passionate and committed to growing in their gifts.
WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENS ON THE PROGRAM
The program consists of three main components; Learning, Service, & Mission.
LEARNING:
The learning activities will involve three areas; theology, skills track, and life-skills. Let’s take a closer look at what this involves…
THEOLOGY
Working with Eternity Bible College in California (an incredible Bible school!), participants will complete a dynamic and engaging Bible Study Methods course providing them with valuable tools for a lifetime of growing in the Word.
SKILLS TRACK
Over the duration of the placement participants will select from a range of specialisms in which to develop skills. These include a Kids & Youth Track, Creative Track, or Worship Track - depending on what you’re interested in!
LIFE SKILLS
As part of the program participants will grow in important self-management skills such as simple budgeting, personal devotional times, communication and writing skills, organizing and planning skills, and teamwork. All great practical skills that will really help you in life!
SERVICE:
Together with the administration/hub team participants will be involved in the communication, organization and community of the daily life of the church. This will help develop self-management tools through experience in a lively, fun, and dynamic working environment.
MISSION:
We believe that everything we do is in response to the Great Commission and we are all on mission all the time. Subject to availability, participants will be invited to participate in specific missional activities within the church community. This could be part of an overseas mission trip, engagement in Labour Camp ministries, Safe House support, or supporting in hosting the regional NCMI UAE Equip event.
